They didn't meet on Bumble
A few outlets reported that Amy and Ben met on the dating app Bumble (the one where women have to make the first move), which isn't true. Amy set the record straight on Twitter by letting her followers know that she has never used Bumble. Who cares how these two lovebirds met, as long as they're happy!

Ben is a furniture designer
So basically, he is Aiden from Sex and the City. But seriously, Ben is a super talented furniture designer who founded his own company, The Last Workshop. He also was a design consultant for HGTV. Dude knows his stuff.
He's from Chicago

He met her family
Ben met Amy's siblings when the couple visited the White House to support President Obama's call to limit gun violence. She posted a photo collage to Twitter the same day with the caption "Fam and man at the whitehizzy."

He can take a joke
In Amy's world (which we all live in), this is a very good quality. Apparently, she trolls his Instagram with comments like "I'm pregnant" and "I'm pregnant I didn't know how else to tell you." Also, she tweeted, "IAS season 5 got picked up! And my boyfriend and I got engaged and married and had a baby and he cheated on me with the nanny! Entertainment."
