The wedding photos will be the main way you can look back on your big day for decades to come. So you want your album to be one-of-a-kind--and that means ditching any cliché wedding photos that have been done to death. Before you finalize your shot list with your photographer, take a look at these seven poses you can feel free to skip..

Heart With Hands

Yes, it’s super cute, but almost every couple that has gotten hitched in the past few years has that shot in their photo album. And that means it’s just not original anymore.

The Dip & Kiss

This shot--which has the groom dipping his bride and then going in for a kiss--is another cute shot that has seen its day.

The Jump Shot

That picture of the bride and groom jumping for joy can be funny, but it’s also bordering on cheesy.

Couple Holding Signs

Wedding signage is still going strong as a wedding trend, so it makes sense that the shot of the newlyweds holding a funny or romantic sign is now overdone.

Bride In The Mirror

There’s a very good chance your mom has this photo—a shot of the bride admiring herself in the mirror--in her photo album. That’s a sure sign it’s become a cliché.

The Veil Cover

Feel free to skip the photo of the kissing couple with the bride’s veil covering their faces.

Showing Off Legs

Whether it’s just the bride or all of her maids, the photo of the ladies lifting up their dresses to expose their legs is a now a big don’t.
