Royal Blue
As Sarah Chianese of Mangia and Enjoy! explains, while royal blue has been popular over the past six or seven years, it is now giving way to other shades of blue. "Blue has always been classic in some shape or form, yet with newer weddings aiming to be more unique, the blue palette is now changing its hue to dusty, periwinkle, or deeper blues, often combined with a complementary shade such as grey or silver."
Muted Shades
Muted and neutral colors, like the subtle touch of blush, beige, and powder lavender, are being phased out for 2023, notes Gita Reddy, a wedding trend expert at Koyal Wholesale. Metallics
Metallics were everywhere, from accessories to dresses, invitations, and décor. But 2023 has seen a shift away from the trend. "While you may still see a pop here and there, metallics like bronze and copper have seen themselves out with the jewel tone trend," says Nora Sheils of Rock Paper Coin. "A muted or matte gold, however, seems here to stay."
Neons
Although bold colors are in, ultra bright neons are being phased out for 2023, says wedding planner Tehsin Rashid of Shaadinama.
