Alessandra Ambrosio pulled out all the stops in an image that she posted to her Instagram account on March 16th— along with photographer Stewart Shining— who recently composed a book full of his shots of the Brazilian model. Ambrosio, 40, can be seen glamorously posing on a beach in a show-stopping black dress— one that features one shoulder-baring cut-out, another that exposes her toned abs, and a thigh-high slit that helps flaunt her killer legs and stunning figure. We mean it when we say—WOW!

This photo was included in a Park Magazine feature about the new book, and both Ambrosio and Shining shared it in a joint post to their respective social media accounts. The book, titled Alessandra pays homage to the photographer’s 20+ year relationship with the former Victoria’s Secret Angel with 200 photographs in color and black and white (like this one that we love). The book’s website reads, “Fashion icon Alessandra Ambrosio and photographer Stewart Shining’s friendship started nearly two decades ago, just as Alessandra’s modeling career was taking off. Through the years, they developed a deep connection—transcending the relationship of a photographer and muse.”

This hardbound, 230-page book celebrates the model’s “rise to supermodel and Victoria’s Secret Angel through the lens” of Shining and features some “never before published photos” of Ambrosio. Its foreword is from none other than Calvin Klein himself and a personal essay by Olivier Rousteing of Balmain is also included within it. “This book is a tribute to classic beauty and the modern woman: independent, strong and empowered,” the site further reads.
