Ariana Grande and ex-husband Dalton Gomez are finally officially divorced! Although the 30-year-old Wicked star and the 28-year-old real estate broker, who tied the knot on May 15th, 2021, finalized their divorce in October 2023, they were only declared legally divorced by a Los Angeles Superior Court judge on Tuesday, March 19th.

And if we are to believe some insiders, things are quite amicable between the now exes! “They’ve been really caring and respectful of one another through every step of this process,” an insider reportedly told People last year, adding that their uncoupling was “kind and patient.” The insider also noted that both Grande and Gomez had “moved on.”

Ariana Grande And Dalton Gomez Are Officially Legally Divorced

The former couple have been separated for over a year now. According to Entertainment Tonight, the "Yes, And?" hitmaker listed February 20th, 2023 as the date of her and Gomez's separation, and cited "irreconcilable differences" in her divorce filing. The public didn't find out about their separation until July, 2023, which could be why she came under fire for dating Wicked co-star Ethan Slater that same month.

Although she has been criticized for embarking on a relationship with Slater, and has been called a "homewrecker" for allegedly breaking up Slater and high school sweetheart Lilly Jay, Ariana has always maintained that their relationship began after their respective relationships with their exes were over. Ariana and Ethan's relationship was confirmed in July, 2023, with reports claiming that Ethan and Lilly had already separated. For what it's worth, TMZ reported that Slater filed for divorce from Jay in New York City on July 26th, 2023.

Ariana Grande Gives Dalton Gomez One-Off Payment Of $1.25M

According to reports, court documents state that Grande and Gomez did sign a prenup before they tied the knot, and there were "no significant legal disputes in the split." They did reportedly agree to the terms of their settlement in October 2023, but needed to wait six months before the judge's order could take effect.

As per their agreement, the Grammy-winner will pay Gomez a one-time payment of $1,250,000 rather than monthly spousal support, and will also give him half of the profits from the sale of their LA home. She will also pay up to $25,000 of Gomez's legal fees.
