October 3rd isn’t just Mean Girls Day, it’s also Barack Obama and Michelle Obama‘s wedding anniversary. The former president marked their 34th wedding anniversary this year with a sweet social media tribute to his wife, telling her he is “still the luckiest guy in the world” to be with her. And Michelle returned the love with an equally touching post of her own. Aww!

Barack shared a picture of himself smiling as he wrapped his arms around Michelle’s waist and looked lovingly at her, which was taken during a recent People photoshoot. Michelle, meanwhile, shared a compilation of photos and videos with her own social media followers, including footage from their 1992 wedding, their time in the White House, and more recent snaps.

"Happy anniversary, @MichelleObama! I'm still the luckiest guy in the world to be with you," the former POTUS wrote in the caption of the anniversary post.

The IMO podcast host also got mushy in her own caption, writing: "Loving you just keeps getting better and better! Happy anniversary, @BarackObama. Here's to many, many more years of joy, laughter, and memories to come." She finished off with the two hearts emoji.

This is the latest in a long line of moments where the former first couple have shown how much they love each other. In a promotional video (above) for the Obama Presidential Center shared on Instagram back in August in honor of National Book Lovers' Day, they reflected on their favorite books that can be found in the Obama Presidential Center library.

Barack immediately answered Becoming, the title of Michelle's bestselling memoir, prompting his wife to laugh and say, "Oh yeah," before he added: "That was easy." Michelle could also be seen grabbing her husband's arm as they laughed together, and the flirty moment quickly went viral.

"Love you both. Thanks for being great leaders," commented a third, while a fourth praised: "It's so beautiful to see a President and First Lady that actually love each other. Such a great example. Happy anniversary to you both."

Others shared similarly heartfelt anniversary wishes, with an eighth writing: "My heart is lifted for joy for both of you. Wishing many more joy, laughter, and healthy years ahead." "Happy Anniversary! We love your love," gushed a ninth, followed by the red heart emoji, while a tenth wished them "continued love, laughter, partnership, and many more beautiful years together."

Unsurprisingly, there were also plenty of comments from fans who couldn't help but reminisce about the Obamas' time in the White House, with some even begging them to make a return. "Our forever First Family! We love the Obamas!" exclaimed an eleventh, as a twelfth said: "Miss y'all so much. Happy Anniversary."

"Our forever President and Madame President," commented a thirteenth. "We need y'all back in the White House," declared a fourteenth, as a fifteenth added: "Back when the White House had class." A sixteenth echoed: "We miss you leading this country. Every photo reminds us how classy y'all are."
