Pete Davidson Reflects On Dating Kim Kardashian

Davison recently opened up to Variety about his short-lived relationship with Kardashian. "I’m one of the survivors — the few and the proud. We're like the Marines," he joked. "Look, man, that’s a really tough atmosphere if you’re not game. One of the things I love about Kim and that whole family is they’re like, 'This is what we do.' I found that very attractive and mature."

However, Davidson admitted that he couldn't get comfortable with the Kardashian lifestyle. "[Kim] was super respectful of all of it, but the craze of that lifestyle — being followed everywhere, having security and looking over your shoulder — for a guy with mental stuff, and at the time drug problems, was a little too much for me," he said.

"But we’re cool, and I have a lot of love for her, and I knew what I was getting into," he added.

Social Media Reactions

Across social media platforms, users had mixed reactions to the comedians comments. "He was incredibly respectful and I love that," one person wrote on TiKTok.

"He loved every second of that PR relationship," wrote another user.

"I lowkey loved them together," said one person. "Love that there's no bad blood."

"He's right though, walked away with his mental health still intact," pointed out another.

"After all these years he's bringing her up now just for relevancy," said one user. "He was a nobody without her."

"If anyone was a survivor, it was her..." wrote one critic. "Being with Pete Davidson takes more guts that going through marine bootcamp."

"Men always playing the victim," a final user wrote.
