Michelle Obama turned heads with an all-white ensemble during the Aug. 12 episode of her podcast, IMO with Michelle Obama & Craig Robinson.
The episode featured Megan Thee Stallion as a guest, but Michelle’s fashion also caught fans’ attention. The former First Lady wore a coordinated white look featuring a low-cut tank top, high-waisted pencil skirt and cropped jacket with pockets. She completed the outfit with off-white heels and silver jewelry.
The 62-year-old wore her signature braids down with a center part, giving the polished outfit a sleek finish.

Michelle Obama Wows With Her Latest All-White Outfit
The author has continued to make headlines for her fashion choices since leaving the White House.
In November 2025, she released The Look, a style and fashion book featuring more than 200 photographs, including never-before-seen images documenting her fashion evolution from her White House years to life after the presidency.
The book also explores how Michelle has used fashion, hair and beauty as tools for communication, visibility and representation. It was co-written with her longtime stylist, Meredith Koop.
Many of Michelle’s most memorable fashion moments are also now featured at the Obama Presidential Center. Located on a 19.3-acre campus in Chicago’s Jackson Park, the center officially opened to the public on June 19, 2026, following a dedication ceremony.
And while Barack Obama has admitted that he isn’t exactly a fashion expert, he has previously opened up about his personal style preferences when it comes to his wife.
During a conversation for InStyle’s Behind the Seams, the former president acknowledged that he may not know much about fashion—but he knows what he likes on Michelle.

Barack Obama Reveals His Favorite Outfit Michelle Wore
“I don’t know that much about fashion, but I know what looks good,” he joked before singling out Michelle’s outfit at the 2012 Democratic National Convention as one of his favorites.
“She looked very cute, and it showed off her legs a little bit,” Barack said with a smile. “I liked it.”
Michelle seemed surprised by the confession, replying, “I didn’t know that. You liked that dress?”
“Beautiful,” Barack responded.
For the occasion back in 2012, the mom of two wore a custom sleeveless pink-and-copper shift dress by acclaimed American designer Tracy Reese. The silk jacquard dress featured an abstract pattern and was paired with J.Crew’s Everly suede pumps in the shade Rhubarb, along with a blue-gray manicure that completed the polished look.
