You already know that white cowboy boots are majorly trending for spring, and now we found the most perfect pair: the Western Chelsea ankle boot from the Matt Shultz X Frye collaboration that dropped earlier this spring.
The boot is equal parts rock ‘n’ roll (Matt is the lead singer of Cage the Elephant), vintage (the line was inspired by New York City in the 60s and 70s) and trending (did we mention that every off-duty-model is rocking white cowboy boots right now??).
The boots are a hybrid of Chelsea boots and cowboy boots, which makes them an easy way to get a taste for the trend without going full-blown country. (Cue “Old Town Road.”)
As always with Frye, these boots are made with quality leather (in this case, Italian grain leather) and will last forever. Hence the $358 investment-piece price tag. But trust us–they are gorgeous and worth every penny.

Pro tip: style them with a printed dress and oversized jacket or blazer for maximum results.
And in case you missed it, the shoe company teamed up with the frontman on the 3-piece unisex collection to coincide with the band’s new album “Social Clues.”
It was hard to pick just one style to splurge on from the line–the red, black and white Bruce, Heartbreaker and Western styles are all so cool:
