Charlize Theron never shies away from switching up her hair, especially if it’s for a role. We’ve seen the actress try everything from long, beachy waves to a buzz cut, but now it looks like she’s playing around with her hair color–she’s a brunette now!
Theron shocked fans on the 2019 Oscars red carpet with her darker strands and looked completely unrecognizable. She wore her hair in a trendy cropped bob, which added some edge to her gorgeous blue Dior gown.
So, what inspired the ‘do? The star’s hairstylist says she just wanted to spice things up for the Oscars! “Charlize is incredibly fearless,” Adir Abergel told Us Weekly in an interview breaking down Theron’s red carpet look. “She is willing to experiment.”
