Chris Pratt Posts Birthday Wishes For His Son
The post in question is a series of photos of both Pratt and of Jack on their family farm. The photos show Jack feeding animals with bottles, holding baby farm animals, and petting horses. Beneath the photos, Chris wrote, “Happy Birthday to my wonderful son Jack. I thank God every day for you sweet boy. You are so smart, hilarious, kind, thoughtful, trustworthy and tough. I love you so much kiddo. Twelve!? I honestly can’t believe it.”
While most of the comments were friends, family, and fans leaving their own birthday wishes and praising Chris Pratt for doing such a great job as a father, others weren’t so nice.

Fans Slam Chris Pratt As 'Absentee Father'
Some fans took the opportunity to slam the Passengers star as an "absentee father," leaving comments like, "I bet time really flies when you're an absent father," and "Seems like someone remembered he had a son from before..."
Other comments read, "Bold move from an absentee father," and "Is this the first time you've seen him since his last birthday?"
Where are these comments coming from? Well, some fans think that he's left Faris and Jack in the rearview mirror as he focuses more on his daughter Eloise, and his new wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger.

Not The First Time in Hot Water
This is unfortunately not the first time Chris Pratt has found himself facing backlash from fans. Back in 2021, Pratt posted a tribute to his wife, Katherine, on his Instagram, writing beneath a photo of the two of them, "She's given me an amazing life, a gorgeous healthy daughter, she chews so loudly that sometimes I put in my ear buds to drown it out, but that's love!"
While this seems like an innocent, sweet message praising his wife, many fans saw it as a dig to his ex-wife, Anna Faris. Chris and Anna's son, Jack, was born two months prematurely and as a result, experienced a number of health issues in the months following his birth. Some critics think him writing Katherine gave him a "healthy daughter" was a dig at Faris. Hopefully all of this is just rumors and speculation from fans with a little too much time on their hands.
