Donald Trump is appearing to drop hints that he will run for president again in 2024, teasing that he will give followers a big announcement via his recently raided Mar-a-Lago property next week. The twice-impeached former president, 76, spoke to reporters at the Morton and Barbara Mandel Recreation Center on Election Day and dubbed the upcoming November 15th to be a “very exciting day” without specifying why.

Many signs point towards his potential run, and Trump revealed that he voted for Republican Governor Ron DeSantis while at the polling place. After he cast his vote, the billionaire stressed the importance of voting, telling a crowd outside, “No matter who you vote for, you have to vote.” Former First Lady Melania Trump, 52, was at his side.

Trump Hints That Next Tuesday Will Be ‘Very Exciting’

While speaking to the media, Trump said, “I think Tuesday [November 15th] will be a very exciting day for a lot of people and I look forward to seeing you at Mar-a-Lago.” When asked whether he plans to run for the White House again and what might motivate him to do so, Trump replied, “The country has gotten very bad. It’s lost its way, it’s lost its confidence.”After the polls closed on November 8th, Trump greeted his supporters and friends during an election night party he threw at Mar-a-Lago to celebrate the reelection of Senator Marco Rubio and other republican victories.

On Monday, November 7th, Trump spoke at a Save America rally in Vandalia, Ohio, and dubbed this election to be the “most important midterm election in the history of the United States.” On the eve of the midterm elections, he said, “I’m going to be making a very big announcement on Tuesday, Nov. 15 at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida.”

As CNBC reports, Trump was reportedly considering whether to launch his third presidential campaign at the Ohio rally. Allegedly,  national Republicans and urged him to wait, fearing that his announcement could “energize Democrats and potentially alienate independent voters.” Trump added at the event, “We want nothing to detract from the importance of tomorrow.”

Trump’s mention of November 15th being an important day to watch out for came near the end of a “more than 90 minute speech” at a campaign rally for Ohio Republican Senate candidate J.D. Vance, CNBC adds, but rather than focusing his attention on Vance, who he was there for, Trump delivered a rally speech for his own upcoming campaign.
