Donald Trump finally addressed whether his eldest daughter Ivanka Trump could be his running mate for the 2024 presidential run, after keeping his cards very close to his chest up ’til now! So will he be keeping things in the family this time around should he officially decide to run for president?
It is bad enough with one Trump we certainly don’t need another. No experience, late nights with Daddy.

Will Ivanka Trump be Donald Trump’s running mate for 2024?
“Ivanka? My daughter? Never thought of that one,” the 76-year-old former POTUS said when questioned by an interviewer for India’s NDTV. “I’ve never even heard, but that’s an interesting idea… but she’s a very capable person that I can tell you. But no, I have not heard that one.”
While that initially seemed like a very ambiguous answer that was open to interpretation, the former president went on to reiterate that we *shouldn’t* expect to see the 40-year-old mom-of-three as his running mate if he chooses to run, adding: “No, I wouldn’t. Not my daughter.” Well, we guess that’s that then!
We don’t know why Trump has dismissed the idea so quickly, since he allegedly considered her as a running mate back in 2016. "She's bright, she's smart, she's beautiful, and the people would love her!" Trump reportedly said, according to his former deputy campaign manager, Rick Gates' new book, Wicked Game: An Insider's Story on How Trump Won, Mueller Failed, and America Lost.
Will Donald Trump actually run for office?
Trump went on to tell NDTV that he would "make a decision in the very near future" on whether he actually plans to run for office again, saying that "a lot of people are going to be very happy" with his decision. As he also said that "everyone wants me to run, I'm leading in the polls" while discussing the 2024 presidential run, and everything else he has said about running since leaving office in January 2021, we *think* we already know what way his decision is going to go!
