1. Clear Safari Cache
The Safari browser stores temporary files, cookies, and other data that clog up your storage space. Over time, these files can really add up, especially if you aren’t performing routine maintenance on your browser and clearing Safari cache. When you clear cache you also remove your browsing history, cookies, and temporary website data.
To clear Safari cache, go to Settings > Safari > Clear History and Website Data. When a pop-up appears, tap Clear History and Data.
2. Delete Unnecessary Apps
There’s no way around this one: the more apps on your phone, the more storage space those apps take up. Some apps, like social media apps that consume tons of resources, take up more space than others. Older apps that haven’t been updated in forever can also consume space. The more of these apps that you can delete, the better for your storage.
3. Manage Photos and Videos
Photos and videos in your Photos app are enormous consumers of storage space. These add up quickly and we don’t always remember to delete files and gain back that storage space. Take time once in a while to move the photos and videos that you want to save to iCloud and delete them from your phone. This simple act can save so much space.
