The stars of the show gathered at New York City's Hotel Chelsea on Wednesday, September 23rd, ahead of the season's September 24th premiere. The 13th installment brings together several fan-favorite characters from across the anthology, including characters from Murder House, Coven, Hotel, and Cult, for a major crossover season. Gabourey Sidibe was among the familiar faces who stepped onto the red carpet to celebrate the new season, marking her return to the franchise as Queenie from seasons three and eight.
For the evening, the mom-of-two showed off her post-twins figure in a sleek black gown featuring an asymmetric neckline and a drop-waist silk skirt. She kept the look relatively simple, accessorizing with a gold bangle and intricate drop earrings as she posed for photos on the red carpet.

The Oscar-nominee's slimmer figure stood out as she posed on the red carpet on Wednesday, as she showcased her weight loss in the form-fitting look nearly two and a half years after welcoming her twins.
Gabourey has previously been open about undergoing bariatric surgery in 2016 and said the procedure, along with changing her eating habits and becoming more active, played a major role in her weight loss. She and her husband, Brandon Frankel, welcomed their twins, Maya and Cooper, in April 2024 after announcing the pregnancy with twins earlier that year.
