The list of celebrity children making their fashion debuts continues to grow, and Matthew McConaughey’s son, Levi McConaughey, is the latest to attract attention after stepping onto the runway at Vogue World in Milan.
Levi, the 18-year-old son of Matthew and his wife, Camila Alves, made his Vogue World debut in Milan on Sept. 22, where he joined a star-studded crowd that included Jennifer Lopez, Dakota Johnson, Heidi Klum, Donatella Versace, Gigi Hadid, and many more.
For the high-profile event, Levi walked the runway in a gray suit featuring a slightly oversized, double-breasted blazer with black buttons and coordinating trousers with flared hems. He paired the ensemble with a white shirt and black shoes.

The aspiring actor also appeared to have fun with the moment, showing plenty of personality as he blew a kiss toward the camera and incorporated some dance moves into his runway walk.
However, his appearance quickly drew criticism online, with some social media users questioning whether his famous family played a role in helping him land opportunities in the entertainment and fashion industries. Others thought his dancing moment was plain “cringe.”
“Soooo he is famous just because of his parents. Just what we need in this world,” one person wrote.

Levi Addresses Nepo Baby Backlash After Landing Acting Role
Despite the backlash, Levi has already begun pursuing a career in acting and has taken steps toward establishing himself outside of his parents’ fame.
He stars alongside his father in Apple TV+’s survival thriller The Lost Bus, portraying Matthew’s on-screen son in the film inspired by the 2018 Camp Fire. According to reports, Levi’s famous last name was initially removed from his audition tape as part of the process before director Paul Greengrass ultimately cast him.
Levi has also previously addressed the ongoing conversation surrounding so-called “nepo babies.” In a 2025 cover story with PEOPLE, he acknowledged that having famous parents can create opportunities but said he understands that proving himself is ultimately his responsibility.
“As much as people can say, ‘Oh, you got this because of your father or your mother,’ they can open the door, but then it’s going to be up to me to do my thing once I get in there. That’s on me,” he said.
