The “Voice” star shared a throwback photo to Instagram for her brother Eric Stefani’s birthday, showing the world that her real hair color is actually brunette. She looks unrecognizable!

The 47-year-old took to the platform to share a 90s-era photo of the siblings on June 17, captioning the post "Happy b day @ericstefanimation #ericstefani i wouldn’t be me w out u! love u!!!" Aw!
(If you recall, Eric was an early member of No Doubt before exiting the band to become an animator, working on shows like "The Simpsons.")

And although she's tried out a few creative colors such as pink or blue hair throughout her career, she's really become known for those electric platinum blonde locks. Who knew that her real color was what Yahoo calls a mousy "bronde." We are so surprised!
And what's even more surprising is that if this isn't Gwen's natural color, how come she NEVER has roots? Even in quarantine! It really defies logic.
