Goth glam is having a real moment right now – we assume partly due to the success of Tim Burton’s highly-acclaimed Netflix series Wednesday, which stars Jenna Ortega as the title character and Catherine Zeta-Jones as Addams family matriarch, Morticia Addams. Some recent examples appeared on the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party red carpet last month, as well as Miley Cyrus’s goth princess Versace dress that she wore to the Versace Fall/Winter 2023 show in Hollywood, not to mention Kourtney Kardashian’s gothic wedding dress that she wore when she married Travis Barker last year.
Jenna herself has donned quite a few goth-inspired outfits recently, including a vintage Versace black leather gown with a thigh-high slit that she wore to the 2023 SAG Awards, and a tuxedo-esque mini dress from Jean Paul Gaultier’s Fall/Winter 2022 couture collection that she wore to the Scream VI premiere in New York! But her latest ensemble, which she wore to a VIP party in Los Angeles to celebrate the new unisex Gris Dior perfume, which she is the face of alongside Maya Hawke and Thuso Mbedu, is perhaps the best one of all!

Jenna Ortega Wears Black Dior Slipdress In Los Angeles
On Tuesday, April 11th, the 20-year-old Dior ambassador pulled out all the stops for her appearance at the party, which was held at the Gris Dior pop-up art gallery, ‘The Gray Zone,’ wearing a floor-length black slipdress (so nineties, and we love it!) which featured a scoop neck, intricate ruffling around the waist, and a tiered skirt.

Another nineties addition the You actress added to the look was a dark gray choker necklace, as well as black glittery rings and bracelets, while her hair was worn in an effortless updo with a few tendrils framing her face, alongside her en-vogue bangs. She didn’t go too heavy with the makeup though, which some might have expected given the rest of the gothic ensemble, and went for a subtle smoky eye teamed with a soft pink lip.

Jenna Ortega’s Dior Campaign
The Stuck in the Middle star shared a video of her Gris Dior ad campaign on her Instagram account on April 9th. In the video, Jenna is rocking an all-gray outfit (we would expect nothing less!) consisting of a silky blouse, a metallic mesh skirt, and gray satin peep-toe platform heels, as well as an apt gray manicure. She can be seen lying in a pile of petals, and saying, “My name is Jenna Ortega. I’ll say that again.” She then says, “Truth or dare,” and “Life is just a game.”
Naturally, her fans couldn’t help but flood the comments section of her post with praise! “She’s so beautiful,” gushed one fan. “She is absolutely dazzling. What a pure talent. Her authenticity is so rare & valuable. She is the perfect ambassador for this poetic ad. She obviously does love to take risks and apparently, it seems to pay off,” raved another fan, followed by a purple heart emoji. “She is honestly the most beautiful amazing drop dead gorgeous brilliant dazzling bewildering, appealing, delightful, elegant human to walk the planet,” said another fan, while another asked, “How is it possible that someone can be this beautiful, amazing, angelic, and perfect at the same time?” followed by two heart eyes emojis.
