Jennifer Aniston dazzled onlookers at the 2024 People’s Choice Awards in a sleek, strapless and elegant little black dress with an asymmetrical hemline. The Friends actress, 55, honored her “bestie” Adam Sandler at the ceremony, presenting her Murder Mystery co-star, 57, with the People’s Icon award.

To complete her look for the event, Aniston donned strappy, open-toe black sandal heels and shimmered with the help of shiny gold dangly earrings, matching bracelets and rings. During her speech made for Sandler’s award, Aniston gushed: “Tonight, I am here to recognize my very good friend. My brother from another mother. An extraordinary father, husband and one of the most loyal friends you could ever, ever, have. The People’s Icon, Adam Sandler!”

Aniston continued, speaking to Sandler who got up from his seat in the crowd: “No, sit down, Adam, I’m not done! Sit down! Eager to get up here! I love you.” The Morning Show star then asked the audience: “I mean, the Sand Man. Who’s more iconic than Adam Sandler, seriously?”

As for her glam for the awards show held at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California, Aniston wore her layered, dirty blonde tresses down, parted to the side. She showed off her recent haircut, and highlighted her collarbone-length bob that made headlines last month. For her makeup look, the We’re the Millers alum sported black liner, voluminous lashes, smokey gray eyeshadow, radiant, rosy blush and a glossy mauve pout.

Aniston proceeded to provide a concise overview of Sandler's repertoire, spanning from his memorable debut on Saturday Night Live to his notable comedic and beloved dramatic roles, as well as his musical tours and other endeavors. "And yet in all of this extraordinary success, he has stuck to his roots; he's never strayed from the friends he's had for 35 years and counting," Aniston shared.

She continued, praising the Uncut Gems actor: "He created a world where he brings them into his movies — basically getting to hang out with his buddies all day. And it doesn't hurt that his friends happen to be some of the most talented and hilarious writers and actors out there."

Aniston then noted: "Being his friend has been one of the great joys of my life. I'm proud to honor tonight, and I'd happily keep honoring him for decades and decades to come because he deserves all the love in the world." (Aww!)

In his own acceptance speech, Sandler joked about thinking he won People Magazine's coveted 'Sexiest Man Alive' honor. "My name is Adam Sandler and I am the sexiest man alive, can I get a hell yeah?" the Mr. Deeds star said.

"I would like to say thank you for recognizing me as the man who made our entire country the horniest this year and was by far the most-talked-about person in the bedroom by couples or thruples during fantasy role plays and sloppy time," the Happy Gilmore alum went on. "Can I get another hell yeah?"

In 2011, Aniston and Sandler shared the screen for the first time in Just Go With It. Eight years later, they were reunited for Netflix's Murder Mystery, where they portrayed a married couple embroiled in a mystery to uncover the perpetrator. Fans can't get enough of their sweet friendship and on-screen chemistry!
