Kanye West reportedly finds the relationship his children share with Pete Davidson “deeply unsettling” and is even “heartbroken” over the situation, an insider recently told Hollywood Life. This is so sad for him!
While the father of four “knows the bond he has with his kids is unbreakable,” it’s understandable that he’s feeling this way after seeing them out and about with Kim Kardashian‘s new boyfriend, Pete Davidson. Recently, the comedian was spotted with 6-year-old Saint West as the two explored the Grove Mall in West Hollywood and went toy shopping at Walmart in Woodland Hills. Hollywood Life’s source noted that “Saint appeared to be very comfortable with Pete” while “they were playing with some of the toys in the back section of the store and just having fun together.”

This is adorable from an outside perspective, but difficult for Kanye to watch. “For Pete and the kids to get so close, so fast, is deeply unsettling for Kanye,” the insider said. “It’s really difficult seeing photos of them together everywhere he goes, and he just wishes things were different.”
The rapper has been quite outspoken about his feelings towards Davidson; photos of texts between the two even show that Kanye warned the comedian he would never be allowed to meet Kim’s children (North, 8, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 3). However, it’s clear his efforts to keep Davidson away from the kids didn’t quite work out. Now, he feels heartbroken over the situation.

This is partly due to the fact that there are still some sore feelings around Kanye’s breakup with the Kardashians star. “Kanye is still having trouble accepting the fact that he can’t fix this and get his family back together,” another source shared with Hollywood Life. “He’s still very heartbroken and trying everything can can to stall the proceedings. It’s painful for him to see Kim moving on with Pete and to see Pete spending all this time with his kids has magnified that pain even further.”
Regardless of how Kanye feels, it looks like Kim and Pete’s relationship is currently stronger than ever—and Pete’s relationship with the kids isn’t far behind. We certainly hope there’s a way everyone can find a happy ending here!
