Kate Hudson is well-known for her acting chops and, more recently, her work with Fabletics. The 41-year-old is also a mom to three: Ryder (16), Bingham (8), and Rani (1). Although Hudson keeps her family life relatively private, she has does share some sweet moments with her children on Instagram.
Over Mother’s Day, she shared a snap of her and all three kids together. The actress added a sweet caption, “My life’s purpose in one line: If you’re happy…then I’m happy.” Many fans were quick to show love for the post, and even more started noticing that Kate’s kids look exactly like their famous mom–especially her oldest, Ryder.
Since then, people have only started noticing more similarities!

Several fans commented on how similar they look, and some outlets even compared Ryder and Kate to Reese Witherspoon and her kids (and we all know they could be twins)!
Reese herself even commented on the pic, writing, "What a guy."
For her part, the actress seems to be enjoying the quality time with her son. She captioned the photo, "He still likes a hang with his mama...so that's good."
Hudson has an especially close relationship with her oldest son, and even talked about it to InStyle in 2016, crediting the close relationship to how being a young mom.
She explained, "I was really young, like, 23, when I had Ryder. So our relationship has always been [a little unusual]. I mean, we’re close, and I am his mom. I’m big on manners. I’m big on politeness. I’m big on gratitude. But I’m a bit of a wild mom."
She added, "[A]s strict as I am when it comes to things like manners, Ryder sometimes has to put me in check. He and I are like buddies. He’ll turn to me and say, 'Mom, you’re crazy for going out in that outfit.'"
It looks like the two have only grown closer in the years since. Plus, with quarantine, the family has been spending even more time together, and it looks like they've been able to spend some quality time with Kate's mom, Goldie Hawn, as well!
