On April 29th, which just so happened to be Kate and Prince William‘s 15th wedding anniversary, the Prince and Princess of Wales made an unexpected visit to an IntoUniversity center in London – a charity that supports young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, helping them achieve their full potential through education and beyond. The timing of the visit wasn’t random either. IntoUniversity was one of the 26 charities that benefited from their Royal Wedding Gift Fund, which gave guests the option to donate to causes close to the couple’s hearts instead of giving traditional wedding gifts.

The Princess of Wales opted for effortlessly stylish separates for the surprise appearance, choosing an Erdem pale blue blazer teamed with a ME+EM brown knitted vest and coordinating elegant brown straight-leg pants from Edeline Lee.
The mom-of-three accessorized with brown Ralph Lauren heels and a chic Daniella Draper necklace, while her hair was worn in her signature center-parted, glossy, loose curls.
While many royal fans gushed over her appearance and the way she styled the individual pieces, others thought something was off – and didn't hesitate to voice their opinions on her rare style miss on social media…

"Brown and blue again? It didn't work for Charlotte's Easter outfit and it doesn't work here," slammed one Instagram user. "Colors are so interesting to me because these are two stunning shades but they just don't go together," thought a second, followed by the crying emoji.
"I love the jacket but don't get the combo of blue and brown. She looks great because she always looks great but this one isn't for me," noted a third, as a fourth chimed in: "The browns are great but with sky blue it's a bit of a disaster. I really like her fashion but this one leaves a lot to be desired."

Of course, not everyone agreed. One fan said they "love this color combo," followed by two apt blue and brown heart emojis.
