Kate Middleton No Longer Wants To 'Reunite The Brothers'
According to reports, the Princess of Wales wasn't fazed by Prince Harry's latest trip to the U.K. and had no interest in arranging a meeting between Prince William and his younger brother, despite some reports to the contrary. Sources claim that's because she no longer believes reconnecting would benefit her family.
"Kate is no longer in the business of trying to reunite the brothers," royal author Christopher Andersen told Fox News Digital.
He then referred to royal experts previously telling Us Weekly that the Princess of Wales was "trying to convince" her husband to meet with his estranged brother, and said: "It really is a year of magical thinking when people seriously suggest that the Princess of Wales has the emotional bandwidth to cope with the Sussexes."
Kate Middleton Doesn't Think A Reunion Will Benefit Her Family
British broadcaster and photographer Helena Chard echoed this, telling the pub: "Unfortunately, my sources do not believe Princess Catherine is pushing for Prince William to meet Prince Harry. She isn't pushing for a meeting."
"She is, however, the one royal who could soften things emotionally, hence the reason Princess Catherine, 'the peacemaker,' keeps rearing her head," she continued.
"The feeling inside the Wales camp is that Catherine will not allow her family, and especially William, to be sucked back into the Sussex drama," Chard went on, adding: "The Sussex circus of briefings, counter-briefings and public spectacle is seen as tiresome and, frankly, not good for the Wales family's well-being."
Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Recently Reunited With King Charles But Not Prince William
Prince Harry and Prince William may not have met while the Spare author was in the U.K. this month, if reports are to be believed, but Harry reportedly reunited with King Charles and Queen Camilla alongside his wife, Meghan Markle, and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, during a private visit to Highgrove House on Friday, July 10th.
At the time of writing, it remains unclear how the meeting went or whether it could pave the way for a reunion with Prince William during a future visit to the U.K. However, if body language experts are to be believed, there is still plenty of tension surrounding the brothers' relationship.
Body language expert Inbaal Honigman spoke to OK! Magazine after analyzing footage of Prince Harry walking around the U.K. without his wife and children, noting his "nervous" energy, which she said made him appear to be "seeking approval."
"Harry's body language betrays a good deal of nervousness, alongside a clear people-pleasing strategy," Honigman told the publication, adding: "His fingers are slightly bent and spread apart, creating gaps between them, which suggests a more supplicant approach. Had he waved with a firm, flat palm and his fingers held tightly together, it would have conveyed a stronger sense of authority and leadership."
