As Emily Ratajkowski proved at the Loewe show during Paris Fashion Week a few months ago, 3D faux florals are this year’s hottest accessory! And as she is quite the style maven herself, it’s not too surprising to discover that Kendall Jenner has followed in her footsteps by rocking her very own version of the trend!
Kendall Jenner Wears Black David Koma Mini Dress On A Yacht
The 27-year-old 818 Tequila founder made a convincing case for the risqué edition of the floral appliqués trend when she shared a picture of herself posing on a yacht on her Instagram Story back in May. Kendall was wearing a seductive black and sheer dress from the David Koma Fall 2023 collection, which came complete with some red floral appliqués to cover her modesty.
To the untrained eye, the red floral appliqués look like they are attached to Kendall's bare skin; but upon closer inspection, it can be seen that they are attached to a very see-through top half of the dress. So clever!
Kendall accessorized with a matching red scarf tied around her neck, which is how it was presented on the catwalk, and she finished off with some black sky-high heels and dainty gold earrings. No more drama is needed, as this dress provides more than its fair share!
As Kendall's picture was shared to her Instagram Story as opposed to her grid, fans had to find other places to share their opinions. Luckily, the Instagram account @KendallJennerCloset re-posted the picture, alongside the model picture from the David Koma catwalk, on May 31st, while Instagram account @KendallUpdater helpfully also re-posted her video. Therefore, there was no shortage of fan comments!

Fan Comments
"I'm obsessed," one fan gushed, followed by the heart eyes emoji, as another said she was "ethereal." "She looks stunning," praised another, followed by the heart eyes emoji, while another thought the look was "phenomenal." Commenting on the re-post of her video, another fan said, "God she's hot," while another said she was "Gorgeous," followed by the hand praising emoji and the fire emoji.
Not all of Kendall's fans approved of the look though, with one saying, "It’s vulgar to me." One other fan seemed to agree, as they directly replied with a crying laughing emoji and the words, "You're right." Another fan bluntly said, "No," while another said, "The world has turned upside down." "Omg this looks so stupid," criticized another, as another slammed the look, writing, "Kendall why are you doing this? Just stop." We think Kendall almost knew this look would divide social media!
