It may not be Thursday yet, but Kendall Jenner, 27, just gave us an iconic throwback to an ad she did for Reserved back in 2019. Her hairstylist Syd Hayes provided a glimpse of two different hairstyles she donned that make her look very unrecognizable. One specific caramel-colored 60s-styled lob has commenters saying she looks like a “young Sophia Loren.”

Kendall Jenner Posts A Throwback To An Ad That Made Her Look Like A ‘Young Sophia Loren’
If you’ve ever wondered what the supermodel would look like with not one but two very different bob cuts, look no further. Celebrity hairstylist Syd Hayes took to Instagram to share a clip of the throwback looks, which was created for a 2019 campaign with fashion brand Reserved. Jenner wore two different wigs for the campaign, including the aforementioned caramel look and an updated shoulder-length lob. The fancy, latte brown wig is styled into 60’s style curls, giving ’50s pin-up vibes. Up next, the blunt black bob is thrown on that has the most perfect middle part and slightly bumped ends–miles away from her standard look.

Commenters were obsessed with her new looks. One person wrote, “This is ART,” while another commented, “She looks stunning, [the hair] brings her brown eyes out love it,” and someone else said, “She is a classic beauty.” One person even commented, “Reminds of a young Sophia Loren.” We definitely see it!
Kendall Jenner Proves She Can Effortlessly Rock Any Style
The wigs are a part of Reserved’s 2019 AW19 campaign. The two-minute clip, called “Ciao Kendall,” finds the model trying on a variety of different wigs. Jenner’s makeup is done by artist Isamaya Ffrench. The ad pays tribute to Luc Besson’s film Léon: The Professional and some Jean Luc Godard-styled dancing. Jenner also acts as a host of other “characters” from the ’60s.
Through the video, Jenner dons a number of high-fashion looks, including an A-line skirt and turtleneck, a crop top paired with a leather skirt, and elegant lingerie.
Can we expect Jenner to take the big chop anytime soon? Only time and Instagram will tell and we’ll be tuned in. We’d love to see more of this kind of ad campaign from the model, especially as it truly showcases how flexible and fluid her style can truly be. We can’t get over how close she looks to Sophia Loren from the first few seconds of the video, though–it’s truly striking.
