Kim Kardashian debuts new looks all the time, but recently fans think she’s been looking like a completely different person.
Her skincare line posted a series of Instagram stories about the Skkn founder’s skincare routine, but fans were less pleased with the alleged “barely-there” photos, which they called edited and fraudulent since Kim has allegedly had cosmetic work done and is known to use filters and heavy editing.
On a Kardashian snark page on Reddit, fans called the Kardashian sister out for “wild” photoshopping in the new photos. Here’s what they had to say about the socialite:

Fans Say Kim Kardashian Looks ‘Unrecognizable’ In New Photos For Skkn
A Redditor posted screenshots of the Instagram shots with no words other than writing, “This is WILD beyond comprehension,” alluding to the fact that The Kardashians’ star looks nearly unrecognizable.
Fans said the shots looked more like Teen Mom alum Farrah Abraham than the Hulu star. “She’s delusional if she thinks she looks like that,” the top comment wrote. Another asked, “Did she get a new face?” to which a user replied, “The answer to this question is always yes. Like 10 of them.”
Commenters posted unedited comparison pictures in the thread, where Kim’s skin texture and structure looked completely different from the new shots. Someone wrote, “We all saw the closeups with the bleach blonde hair.” While these new images claim to be makeup-free, they wrote, “It’s just a dab of serum and a whole filter.”
An earlier Reddit thread posted close-ups of Kim at the CFDA Fashion Awards. Donning a slicked-back bleach-blonde hairdo, fans were quick to point out that the celebrity does have skin texture, fine lines, and scars just like the rest of the world. “You can also see her facelift scar by her ear, but we’re just a bunch of dummies supposed to believe it’s all filler and a drop of mascara,” one comment wrote, calling out the hypocrisy of the Kardashians, who promote the idea that their looks are achievable with their products, like Kim’s Skkn skincare line.
Fans Call Kim Kardashian Out For Selling Filtered Skin As Real
Another commenter wrote that the “filtered” photos were “so unethical to try and pass off” as the result of the Skkn skincare line. They pointed out, “She has an impressionable audience and this misleading bullcrap really ought to be illegal. How many surgeries and pore-removing software did this take? Hours of edits, probably.” They ended, writing, “Consumer fraud.”
Someone else chimed in, “Everything is a sales pitch for this family! It’s exhausting.”
This isn’t the first time the mom-of-four or her family were called out for making questionable claims about products they sold or promoted. The former KUWTK star sparked controversy in 2019 by selling Skims waist trainers as a solution to mimic her own snatched waist, which is not only a questionable device in the eyes of health professionals but also not a “realistic” method to achieve Kim Kardashian's results. The product fails to acknowledge the trainers, reported surgeries, and professional help the celeb has had to create her crazy proportions.
The Kar-Jenners have also promoted flat tummy teas, vitamins, skincare, and makeup products (think Kylie lip kit) that have led to further controversy over illegitimate claims.
With the latest Skkn images, It doesn’t seem the controversies are stopping anytime soon, despite rumors of the Kardashians falling off and becoming less relevant in the eyes of Gen Z. Only time will tell if we ever stop seeing so much of this family.
