Kim Kardashian, 41, was declared legally single in a virtual court hearing on March 2nd, and fans noticed that soon after she officially dropped ‘West’ from her name. The reality star—who was married to rapper Kanye West a.k.a. Ye, 44, for nearly eight years— removed her former married last name from her Instagram and Twitter accounts. This left many fans wondering how her beauty brand KKW might be affected?
According to Elle, Kardashian might re-name the brand SKNN. WWD reports that she filed that new trademark in March 2021 for products in “skin care, hair care, nail care and supplements” categories as well as beauty tools and home products. This came one month after Kardashian filed for divorce from Ye.

On Instagram last August, the KKW Beauty account shared an announcement in an Instagram post, saying that the brand and its employees were “away working on a new, more modern, elevated brand and customer experience—the way Kim has always envisioned.” They haven’t posted anything since, but it’s likely that if the brand were re-named soon, another announcement would follow (and maybe an official one from Kardashian as well).
Kardashian is reportedly ecstatic to be officially single, as a source tells People that “[She] has considered herself single for a while. She is relieved that it’s official though. She isn’t looking back and wants everything about the divorce to be final.”

The source also adds that the beauty mogul is enjoying her time spent with boyfriend Pete Davidson, 28, and with her children. “[Kim] is in a very happy place right now,” the source says. “It’s taken her months to get to this point. She feels good about life. Her kids are great and she loves dating Pete. She isn’t seeing anyone else. She is having the best time with him.”
Sounds like they’re getting more serious, especially after both have officially confirmed their long-rumored romance.
