Kim Kardashian is a billionaire! Forbes has added Kardashian to the list of billionaires this week “thanks to two lucrative businesses — KKW Beauty and Skims — as well as cash from reality television and endorsement deals, and a number of smaller investments.”

Kim isn’t the only big name added to Forbes’ list of billionaires this year. Tyler Perry and Kanye West – who Kardashian is currently divorcing – also made the cut this year. Jeff Bezos is at the top of the list for the fourth year in a row with a net worth of $177 billion.
This is not Kardashian's first acknowledgement by Forbes. In 2017, she actually graced the cover of the magazine, sharing the news with a not-so-subtle jab at critics: "Not bad for a girl with no talent."

The Kardashian family has a somewhat complicated history with Forbes. Back in 2019, Forbes named Kylie Jenner, Kim's younger sister, a self-made billionaire before taking back the title. Explaining the mistake, Forbes claimed that Jenner and her family went to "unusual lengths" to make her net worth seem larger than it was.
Understandably, Kylie did not take the news well. She responded on Twitter, writing, "what am i even waking up to. i thought this was a reputable site.. all i see are a number of inaccurate statements and unproven assumptions lol. i’ve never asked for any title or tried to lie my way there EVER. period."
Here's hoping history doesn't repeat itself with Kim's latest achievement!
