Kim Kardashian has always been beautiful; but there’s no denying that the 40-year-old Keeping Up with the Kardashians star has changed so much in the past 20 or so years. Everything from her face to her nose to her eyes and even to her hairline are all so different – and the throwback pictures she just shared to social media more than prove it!
The KKW Beauty founder shared some pictures of herself as a teenager in honor of National Daughters Day – and we can’t believe how different she used to look! Not only is her face almost unrecognizable, but her sartorial style has changed so much too. We suspect that teenage Kim hadn’t heard of Balenciaga, and instead, chose to wear very baggy ripped jeans, an oversized white T-shirt, and a choker for an afternoon of posing with her sisters in the garage. Ok, chokers are officially on-trend now thanks to 90s fashion making a huge comeback, so we don’t think she would be too embarrassed by that part of her teenage ensemble. Having said that, given the timeline of when these pictures would have been taken, Kim’s outfit would have actually been very en-vogue, as baggy pants were all the rage back then. Who else isn’t surprised that she was still one step ahead of the trends even in her teenage years?!

Kim took an interesting approach to National Daughters Day, as instead of taking to social media and sharing pictures of the two daughters she shares with 44-year-old estranged husband, Kanye West – eight-year-old North and three-year-old Chicago – she took the opportunity to share pictures of herself and her sisters instead. Who else but Kim?
"I saw it was National Daughters Day so this post goes out to my mom and my daughters for when they are teenagers lol," her Instagram post began. "North and Chi, please be easy on me when you’re the age I was in theses pics - and Mom- I’m sorry! I remember being grounded here for Kourtney stealing your car just to drive it around the block and some how even though I didn’t participate I still got in trouble!"
"So we had nothing else to do but do photo shoots in the garage," the SKIMS founder added. "It was never me, I just listened to what my older sister said and friends. They were such bad influences and I was perfect and for that I’m sorry!" We have to say, we love Kim's sense of humor sometimes! (Controversial O.J. Simpson joke aside, her SNL hosting debut earlier this month pretty much proved that she doesn’t take herself too seriously, is able to laugh at herself, and can deliver a joke with excellent comic timing!)
A few fans understandably dragged Kim for posting the pictures of herself rather than her daughters, with one of her followers writing, "Imagine it’s National Daughters Day and you post yourself and not your daughters lol," while another IG user wrote, "In true Kim fashion, while having multiple daughters, she made National Daughters Day somehow all about herself." "Kim will find the smallest reason to post herself. The end is funny though," another noted.
However, many of Kim's other fans complimented her natural looks and sartorial style from decades past. "Such a wonderful throwback to life in the late '90s!! Simple times, eh?" one fan wrote, while another suggested that Kim should recreate the photos, writing, "Kim you should recreate this photo shoot now - it would be fire!" Kim K in baggy pants is something we would definitely love to see!
These throwback pictures prove that Kim's face has definitely changed drastically over the years, but can we also talk about how the mom-of-four doesn’t seem to have aged? Sure, some of her lack of ageing may be down to some, ahem, help, shall we say, but there's no denying that some of it is down to excellent Kardashian genes. We definitely didn’t look that good when we were teenagers, let's put it that way! We would be very interested to have seen how the teenager in those pictures would have aged naturally!
