It’s no secret that Kristen Bell is a natural beauty, from her radiant makeup-free moments on Instagram to her stunning, glammed-up red carpet looks. On Instagram this month, fans have been comparing photos of the Good Place actress, 43, from 2004 during her Veronica Mars era to 2014, ten years later. Many have remarked how little she appeared to “age” during that time.

Early career shots have also been analyzed in comparison to modern 2023 pics of the Forgetting Sarah Marshall alum, and fans are noting just how “ageless” and “timelessly beautiful” Bell is. While some suspect plastic surgery behind her incredible and supple complexion, others think this has been a natural transition.

This all began in the comment section of a new post under the popular Instagram account @theartofanti_aging (where fans often compare photos of celebrities that might have gone under the knife).

Fans Marvel Over Kristen Bell's "Agelessness" On Instagram

On August 1st, the creator uploaded a side-by-side comparison of photos of Bell from 2004 and 2023. The caption read: "what do you think?" prompting fans to share their guesses as to whether Bell might have gone under the knife or not. One fan commented: "aging beautifully" with a heart-eyes emoji as another added: "aging so gracefully!!"

One user thought Bell has been "aging with a little help," noting that she looks "natural, stunning and classic." Another added that whatever her methods are, that she is "doing it right."

Many find it hard to believe that Bell, who is the mother of two young daughters Delta and Lincoln Shepard with her husband Dax Shepard, can maintain her gorgeous looks without having cosmetic surgery.

However, the star has never officially confirmed if she has gotten work done. She has discussed her thorough skincare regimen, which has evidently had an impact on her beauty.

In August 2021, Bell sat down with Vogue and said: "When you’re focused on skincare, I think people miss the steps that affect the skin so much, which is your mental health or your stress."

Bell revealed that in order to maintain her skin's health, despite the hardships that come with a life in the limelight, she puts an emphasis on drinking enough water, getting at least eight to nine hours of sleep every night, and meditating regularly to avoid skin redness.

"[Meditation] is calming to my skin … because it’s calming to my mind," the When in Rome star added. "If I can find 10 minutes once or even twice a week, my whole body, my digestion, my skin, my attitude — it’s all calmer."

Bell also discussed how she has reduced her usage of makeup and the reasons for it.

"I used to feel like I was so concerned with how I look, [but] I think in my 30s and 40s, I realized it is really more about health and how I feel," she said. "That’s kind of what I’m coming to terms with, with my skin, is I want my skin to feel healthy at all times."

Bell emphasized the importance of individuality when it comes to self-presentation, even though she usually opts for a natural look.

"I think makeup and skincare is exactly like clothing," the Frozen alum added. "Does it make you feel fun to have lipstick on? Then wear it!"

Bell, founder of Happy Dance skincare and bath products, can be seen makeup-free in many gorgeous Instagram posts where she is introducing new items or simply capturing a selfie outdoors.

While fans are not only always in awe of her bare-faced glow, they're also often stunned by how little she has changed over the years!
