The hands-on experience included navigating smoke-filled obstacle courses and training in full firefighter gear. Photos from the day showed Sánchez stretching before the challenge alongside her brother-in-law, Mark Bezos. Underneath the heavy firefighter jacket, she wore a low-cut tank top that revealed some cleavage.
She paired the look with a sleek ponytail, side fringe, and dewy makeup for the physically demanding workout.
The event was held in partnership with both the Leary Firefighters Foundation and the FDNY Foundation, with Sánchez later describing the experience as one of her most intense forms of Met Gala preparation yet.
“It’s probably the most unique Met prep ever,” she said to Vogue. “It was bananas, but I loved it. I probably lost about two pounds doing it.”
On Instagram, the mom of three—who also co-chaired and helped sponsor this year’s Met Gala alongside Jeff Bezos—shared her appreciation for firefighters.
