Megan Fox made fans do a double take after seeing her latest Instagram post.

In the new mirror pic uploaded on April 18th, the Jennifer’s Body actress, 37, posed seemingly makeup-free, showing off her new teal tresses while promoting hair products from Wella Professionals.

Some of Fox’s 21.8 million followers claimed that Fox looked “different” due to “heavily” editing and altering the image with filters or photo-editing apps. Fox has not yet responded to these fan claims and accusations.

Fans Are Doing A Double Take After Seeing Megan Fox’s New Instagram Mirror Selfie

Fox captioned her two-part post: “repairing my hair (and 26 inches of extensions) post coachella.” In the mirror selfie, the mom of three donned a low-cut black bra top and low-waisted, black-and-red plaid pajama pants. She wore her blue hair down, parted in the center and styled into loose waves. As for her makeup, Fox went for a minimal look as opposed to her usual edgy and more glammed-up ones, possibly wearing a bit of mascara and pink lip gloss.

“This does not look like Megan Fox AT ALL. AI doing its thing again,” one fan commented as another added: “Thats a very edited pic tho. Didnt even recognise her.” Someone else wrote: “I thought this was Kim Kardashian.” Others concurred with the “editing accusations,” as one commented: “That’s one hell of a filter” as another noted: “Who tf is this.” One follower chimed in: “Megan this is not you” as someone else replied: “You’re not Megan Fox.”

This comes after Fox previously debuted her new light blue hair color on April 2nd (after previously rocking rosy tresses, fiery red locks and her signature jet-black hair). She took to IG earlier this month to showcase a stunning collection of selfies that featured her donning her light pink locks.

“In memoriam of my pink hair era february 2024-april 2024,” the Pretty Boys Are Poisonous author captioned her post. She then followed this up with another carousel unveiling her new light blue color and a blunt, center-parted, chin-length bob. “Entering my jedi era,” Fox wrote.

Fans couldn’t get enough of Fox’s new ‘do and headed to her post’s comments section to share their thoughts on her ashy blue hue. “Your hair matches your Eyesssss,” one wrote with heart-eyes emojis as another added: “i saw megan fox dyed her hair blue so i dyed my hair blue.” Someone else chimed in: “no matter what your hair is like, it always suits you. Beautiful.”

As for her makeup look in the new photos, Fox sported smokey silver eyeshadow, bold black liner, sky-high lashes, rosy blush on her high cheekbones and a glossy pink pout.

In an additional IG post, Fox’s hairstylist Dimitris Giannetos shared more photos and videos of his creation, explaining that he used FÉRIA by L’oreal Paris P1 in ‘Sapphire Smoke’ to get Fox’s new color. Giannetos also deemed Fox’s new style to be a “razored bob” and showed how it looked when parted to the side and styled sleek-straight.
