The famous Jackson sister was one of many stars who stepped out for the BET Awards at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, California, on Sunday, June 28th. The awards ceremony celebrated notable achievements in Black culture over the last year, including those in music, film, television, etc.
Given the recent buzz generated by the latest Michael Jackson biopic film, Michael, which was created in collaboration with his family, many were pleased to see Janet hit the red carpet. She did so wearing an outfit that almost looked as though it was inspired by her departed brother and his unique style.
Janet wore a white pinstripe shirt and black pinstripe trousers that were accessorized to the max. She put a black, short-sleeved tee over her button-down and cinched her waist with a three-layered black leather belt. She also had on a dramatic fedora hat completed with a fascinator veil, and wore lots of chunky, silver jewelry.
