According to The Mirror, the Spare author, 40, was devastated that his Netflix documentary was a huge flop, with an insider saying: “Polo is Harry’s life, he put his heart and soul into this show and had huge hopes for it so the fact that it’s getting such terrible reviews has hit him very hard.”
Just one of the bad reviews came from one of Prince Harry’s past acquaintances, who shared the polo field with him during their teenage years. He told the Daily Beast last month: “It’s hilarious, but not in a good way. It’s so tacky and cringey, it is literally all the worst things about polo. I watched it in appalled hysterics.”

As per the Mirror, the insider went on to suggest that the American Riviera Orchard founder, although unhappy to see her husband upset, is seeing it as a silver lining, as she wants him to pursue other hobbies, instead.
"Meghan is trying to be understanding but apparently, she's somewhat relieved because she's seeing this as an opportunity to convince Harry he should put more of his focus on other hobbies," the source revealed.

"She'd much rather he spends his free time surfing and hiking," the insider continued, adding: "Obviously, she can't ban Harry from playing polo, but it's no secret she'd rather it not be front and center in their lives."
The insider concluded: "She's not expecting him to totally move on from polo, but she'd like him to dial it back and put his attention on other things, and the harsh reality is that's more likely now."
