The Internet Mocks Meghan Markle's New Lifestyle Brand Venture
The Suits star's recent foray into the lifestyle brand world has stirred up a mix of reactions, with some poking fun at the Duchess' latest venture.
Just this Thursday, Meghan revealed a new Instagram page and trailer introducing her brand 'American Riviera Orchard'.
Fans quickly picked up on her use of the title "Duchess" in the bio, sparking criticism from users who accused the actress of leveraging the title for personal gain whenever it suits her, despite stepping away from the royal sphere years ago.
"Just meghan markle. Dude, how can you use a title given by a family you hate," asked one user. "Oh please you left the royalty, now drop the title and live your American life," noted another comment.
Other users went as far as labeling her as 'embarrassing' for using the title and digging at her unsuccessful business ventures: "She seriously needs to drop that title! It's embarrassing to still use a title she's no longer titled too. It's like being a doctor, losing license and still call myself a working doctor...but that's what unsuccessful celebrities do, they hang to the only thing they got famous for forever."
