The singer proved it during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon where she performed her new single “Midnight Sky.” The song is speculated to be about Cyrus’ divorce from Liam Hemsworth. With lyrics like “Lotta years went by with my hands tied up in your ropes (Your ropes) / Forever and ever, no more (No more),” it’s easy to see why fans think she is referencing her longtime relationship with Hemsworth and their recent divorce.
For her performance, the 27-year-old stunned viewers in a racy black dress. The one shoulder dress was eye catching with black sequins, a thigh high slit, and a daring cut out. Leaving little to the imagination, the outfit showed off Cyrus’ toned physique and long legs.
