Ozzy Osbourne just gave fans another update on his health amid his “terribly challenging” Parkinson’s diagnosis that he told fans about back in 2020.
The Black Sabbath rocker’s update comes just two months before he is due to take to the stage for his farewell performance at Villa Park in Birmingham on July 5th, which will raise money for charities such as Cure Parkinson’s, Birmingham Children’s Hospital and Acorns Children’s Hospice.
Ozzy Osbourne's Gives Fans Another Health Update Ahead Of Farewell Performance
In a candid interview with The Guardian published May 1st, the 76-year-old "Crazy Train" musician discussed some of the challenges he is facing ahead of the farewell concert, where he will be joined by other artists such as Guns N' Roses, Metallica, Slayer, and more. But despite the aforementioned challenges, he praised the upcoming performance for giving him a reason to keep going.
"You wake up the next morning and find that something else has gone wrong. You begin to think this is never going to end," Ozzy confessed, before crediting wife Sharon Osbourne for organizing the farewell performance to "give me a reason to get up in the morning."
The "War Pigs" musician previously explained that he wouldn't be performing a full set with his band due to his health, which is partly why so many other iconic rock musicians will also be playing. He reiterated to The Guardian: "We're only playing a couple of songs each. I don't want people thinking, 'We're getting ripped off,' because it's just going to be… a sample. You're going to get a few songs each by Ozzy and Sabbath."

How Is Ozzy Osbourne Preparing For His Farewell Performance?
The "Paranoid" singer has been preparing for the performance for months. In addition to working with a vocal coach "four days a week," he is also getting into top physical health too.
He told the pub: "I do weights [and] bike riding, I've got a guy living at my house who's working with me. It's tough. I've been laid up for such a long time. I've been lying on my back doing nothing and the first thing to go is your strength. It's, like, starting all over again."
"I have problems walking," he continued, which is something wife Sharon previously told fans about when she updated fans on her husband's health. He added: "I also get blood pressure issues from blood clots on my legs. I'm used to doing two hours on stage, jumping and running around. I don't think I'll be doing much jumping or running around this time. I may be sitting down."
