Prince William and Kate Middleton are reportedly planning a “quick escape should they need to” if Prince Harry and Meghan Markle end up at Balmoral at the same time as them this summer.
It’s recently been reported that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex could be invited to King Charles’ residence in Scotland this summer as a chance for the monarch to spend more time with his grandchildren, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, although it hasn’t been confirmed whether that will actually happen.

Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Could Visit King Charles At Balmoral This Summer
There have been mixed reports about whether Prince Harry and Meghan will come to Balmoral this summer. Some reports claim the meeting will only happen if the Sussexes adhere to the very strict rules King Charles has for them, namely that their visit must take place at Balmoral and follow structured royal protocol.
Prince Harry also reportedly has his own conditions, including ensuring he has the right security and that Prince William and Kate aren't there at the same time.
But the Waleses reportedly don't want that to happen either, and are said to be planning their own exit should they find themselves there at the same time.

Prince William And Kate Middleton Want To Avoid The Sussexes
The Prince and Princess of Wales know that the royal feud is still far from over, and there are ongoing tensions between Prince William and Prince Harry in particular.
"There is still the threat of Harry turning up on the doorstep, in which case Kate and William will be heading for the car stat," an insider dished to New Idea, before explaining that the brothers' feud is only the beginning of the potential drama.

"But there are other tensions that can't be ignored, including serious succession issues, not just with the Yorks but also the Sussexes; Kate and Charles' health; Anne's workload; what to do about Camilla's children; and the fact neither the Queen nor the Princess Royal can agree on tradition," the source continued, also referencing Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie, Princess Anne, and Queen Camilla.
They went on to suggest that Prince William and Princess Anne want to keep things very exclusive – similar to the way the Prince of Wales wants to run the monarchy – whereas his father feels slightly differently.
"William and Anne prefer the more exclusive, low-key family approach while Charles and Camilla want to invite every man and his dog – which is why Kate and William are right to worry about surprise guests from California."
