We all knew that when Meghan Markle and Prince Harry announced they were stepping down from royal duties back at the beginning of 2020, it was going to cause major rifts in Harry’s and Williman’s relationship. According to a new documentary on True Royalty, the Megxit hurt William more than he let on.
The documentary is titled, “Prince William - A Monarch in The Making. ” It will explore Prince William’s journey as the future King of England. Roya Nikkhah, a leading royal correspondent, will be present the piece. The film will feature interviews with friends and family close to Prince William. The film also includes never before seen details about the brothers' relationship.
Since Harry and Meghan’s engagement, there have been numerous rumors about the growing rift between the brothers. It’s been rumored that Harry was dissatisfied that William did not go enough to embrace his relationship with Meghan. Now that Harry is no longer in England, the relationship seems to be widening.
The co-founder and editor-in-chief of True Royalty TV, Nick Bullen, says that William was greatly impacted Harry’s decision to leave. The brothers leaned on each other heavily after the death of their mother. Losing his brother to the U.S. has left a hole that no one can really fill.
Although the brothers may seem to be patching things up, due to the current pandemic, there’s little chance the two can catch up in person anytime soon. Harry and Meghan continue to pave their way in the U.S. and William and his family prepare for his future role as King of England.
