Queen Camilla and Prince Harry have seldom seen eye to eye, so it should come as no surprise to hear that she still doesn’t want to get involved in the ongoing feud between King Charles and his youngest son.
But it’s not that she’s being cold or unsupportive; quite the opposite, actually! According to new reports, the Queen Consort, 77, believes that keeping Prince Harry at arm’s length is the healthiest move for the monarch, 76, who is currently battling an undisclosed form of cancer.
Queen Camilla Is Supporting King Charles 'In Private'
"Despite this hands-off approach to the feud, Camilla's stabilizing support is felt in the background as she continues to support King Charles in private," royal expert Hilary Fordwich reportedly told Fox News Digital.
"Their relationship is one of mutual reliance and comfort, especially as King Charles faces health challenges and endures the emotional toll of the highly publicized family rift. Camilla's presence reassures King Charles, ensuring he remains composed and confident," Fordwich added.
"Camilla's strategy of distance and composure in the situation has been received as both dignified and supportive of the monarchy," Fordwich went on, adding: "Her approach doesn't heal the ongoing family divide. She's made a rather deliberate choice to keep her distance from the ongoing and highly publicized feud between King Charles and Prince Harry."
Fordwich concluded: "She's neither intervened nor taken sides. She remains above the fray, particularly after tensions escalated following Prince Harry's recent interviews, as well as his whingefest, Spare."

Queen Camilla Has Been 'Opposed' To Prince Harry Returning To The Royal Family For A While
Queen Camilla has been opposed to Prince Harry being in his father's life for quite a while now, due to the "stress" it seems to bring him amid his ongoing cancer battle. At the end of last year, a source told the Express that she made it clear to her husband that she was "opposed to Harry making any sort of return, even for a friendly visit," as she could sense the "stress and drama" that he brought into his father's life.
"She doesn't want to come face to face with him, let alone show him any kind of forgiveness or mercy," the insider continued at the time, which we assume has something to do with the negative things Prince Harry wrote about Queen Camilla and the rest of the royal family in his bombshell memoir, Spare.
"She thinks he is a wolf in sheep's clothing, he brings stress and drama to situations," the source continued, adding: "It's her belief that any interaction King Charles has with him will only be bad for his health and for the family as a whole."
