Simon Cowell has been in the spotlight for decades, and the producer has gone through quite the transformation in that time. In particular, the host’s face has changed significantly in recent years, which Cowell admits was likely due to too much Botox.

Cowell told the Mirror in 2019 that he sometimes notices too much Botox while watching old clips of himself. "I love watching 'the Botox years,'" Cowell told the outlet.
"All of us are like, 'Christ, we had a lot that year. Not so much that year… maybe a bit too much that year.' You know, the old clips of us are hysterical. Amanda [Holden]'s always like, 'What was I thinking?' I said, 'Well, I don't look a lot better.' I look all right now, but certain years it was like, 'Wow,' I don't know what was going on."
Plastic surgeons seem to think that too much Botox has caused Cowell's "sad appearance." Dr. Sarah Tonks explained to the Mirror: "Maybe he’s had filler in the jawline, maybe he’s had his face lifted at this point. After keeping up the Botox jabs, by 2012 his eyebrows have started drooping. He’s got some volume loss in his forehead on both sides which is not helping his brow position because the bigger your volume loss in your forehead, the lower your brows will be."
