It was the end of an era when Heidi Klum left America’s Got Talent to return as host and head judge of Project Runway for Season 21, after an eight-year hiatus. She had stepped away from the show in 2017, and teamed up with longtime collaborator Tim Gunn to create their own fashion competition show, Making the Cut, which aired from 2020 to 2022.
Fans were predictably thrilled with the 52-year-old iconic supermodel’s Project Runway return, but their excitement reached a whole other level when she reunited with fellow AGT judge Sofía Vergara, 53, who appeared as a guest judge on one of the episodes.

Sofía Vergara Wears Daring Yellow-Green Pantsuit On 'Project Runway' Season 21
Sofía joined an impressive lineup of guest judges for the new season, including Tyra Banks, Michael Kors, Joan Smalls, Zac Posen, and more. The guest judges appear alongside permanent judges Nina García, who is the only judge to appear on every season of Project Runway, and Zendaya's stylist Law Roach. Season 4 winner Christian Siriano returns as mentor, taking over Tim Gunn's former role.
The Modern Family alum looked incredible in a yellow-green suit for her guest judging spot, featuring wide-leg trousers and a double-breasted blazer.
Rather than letting the bold-colored suit command all of the attention and keeping the rest of the pieces understated and muted, the Hot Pursuit actress added a dark red waistcoat with a plunging front underneath. It was a risky choice, but one which definitely paid off!
Her light brunette locks were styled in a sleek, center-parted down-do, while her makeup featured rosy pink cheeks, dark pink lips, and strong, defined brows.
For her part, the "Sunglasses at Night" singer complemented her guest judge's fierce look and wore a yellow-green flowing dress with a high turtleneck and long sleeves complete with feather trim. Her blonde hair was worn in a glamorous, bouncy center-parted wavy down do, with her makeup consisting of a daring smoky eye, pink cheeks, and a soft pink lip.

The Griselda actress proved to be an asset to the judging panel, with contestants loving her input throughout the show. In one standout moment, Vergara praised Belania's flawless design during the wool material challenge.
She said: "This thing falling down her neck, I've never seen anything like it in my life. It's a lot but it's not. I think it was perfect for this material, it was perfect for the color, it was perfect for me."
