Madame Tussauds has a long history of creating incredibly life-like waxworks – but at the same time, some of them have fallen short, and as a result, have been widely mocked online.
Luckily for Swifties, that wasn’t the case for Taylor Swift‘s latest collection of waxwork figures, which were made in honor of the sell-out Eras tour. In fact, they actually exceeded their sky-high expectations! Keep reading for more info…
Taylor Swift Gets 13 New Waxworks At Madame Tussauds
On Wednesday, July 23rd, Madame Tussauds made history with the unveiling of 13 brand-new wax figures of the "Anti-Hero" hitmaker, each one representing a different era from her record-breaking Eras Tour. According to the museum, this is the largest multi-figure launch in its 250-year history, with 40 artists spending over 14 months perfecting every last detail. Wow!
As per the press release, the exhibit aims to "make guests feel as if they've stepped on stage at Taylor Swift's The Eras Tour." The figures will appear in 13 cities across four continents, including Hollywood, Las Vegas, New York, Orlando and Nashville, with each location showcasing a different iconic tour look.
"The phenomenal success of her record-smashing tour is the perfect moment for Madame Tussauds to immortalize with 13 figures – Taylor's lucky number – across four continents to ensure we're reaching as many fans as possible," Madame Tussauds global brand director Laura Sheard shared in a press release. She added: "We just know they are going to love it as much as we do."

Each wax figure captures a specific moment from a different Taylor Swift era; and we're obsessed with the painstaking attention paid to the wardrobe, which was either created by the respective designers themselves or the talented Madame Tussauds team. Those who visit the Hollywood museum will witness the Speak Now era, which is represented by a dramatic lilac Nicole + Felicia ball gown with an ombré tiered tulle skirt.
The Las Vegas figure will be from the Fearless era and will showcase Taylor's gold-fringed Roberto Cavalli mini dress, while the New York figure will be from the Midnights era, and will show the Grammy-winner in a multicolored tinsel jacket and midnight blue Zuhair Murad embellished playsuit.
In Orlando, fans will spot a Reputation-era figure in a red and black sequin Roberto Cavalli catsuit with red snake embellishments and matching boots. In Nashville, Taylor appears in a replica of Etro’s mustard colored floor-length gown from the Evermore era.
