Taylor Swift treated the audience at the Chicago stop of her Eras Tour in a big way, bringing out special guest Maren Morris to perform a stunning live rendition of their duet “You All Over Me” from her 2021 record, Fearless (Taylor’s Version).

The two singers harmonized beautifully while each playing an acoustic guitar, and concertgoers were given an unforgettable performance that has been captured in fan-shot footage:

Taylor Swift Brings Maren Morris On Stage For Surprise Duet in Chicago

Near the end of Swift’s show at the Soldier Field on Saturday (June 3rd), the Grammy winner told her audience that she had a special surprise in store. “Tonight, I’m gonna play a song I’ve never played live before,” she said.

The “Anti-Hero” hitmaker went on, “When I was re-recording Fearless, I thought it would be really cool to have one of my favorite artists sing on one of the songs ‘From the Vault.’ We are so lucky Chicago, because not only did that artist say ‘yes,’ but Maren Morris is actually here tonight.”

The crowd then cheered, and Morris stepped on stage to perform “You All Over Me” with Swift. The “My Church” singer donned a white tank top and funky zebra-striped pants while holding a red guitar. The “Bejeweled” crooner wore a tiered, elegant green gown with her tan guitar as they both brought the country-tinged ballad to a live audience for the very first time.

Soon after their delicate, exquisite and ethereal rendition, Morris took to Instagram to express her gratitude to Swift for the experience. The stylish “Chasing After You” singer uploaded a black-and-white photo of her on stage with Swift and captioned it, “We finally got to play “You All Over Me” and I won’t ever be shutting up about it.”

She went on, “Love you @taylorswift and love you always, Chicago.” Many fans in the country superstar‘s comment section conveyed their (and our) thoughts on the performance with red heart, fire and heart-eye emojis.

In the past few months, Swift has brought out a number of special guests for her Eras Tour surprise songs, such as Ice Spice, Marcus Mumford, Aaron Dessner and Jack Antonoff. This moment with Morris is certainly one for the books!
