What: Haute-pop clothing label Heatherette has teamed up with beloved M.A.C. Cosmetics to debut a lively line of makeup in March.
Why: Both companies were pretty tight-lipped about this collaboration for a while, but now that information is starting to trickle out, the M.A.C. Heatherette collection is getting lots of buzz. The design duo behind Heatherette are like Gods to New York City's club kids, but you might know the label better for its Hello Kitty couture, or for their trashy-flashy, glitter-and-sequins aesthetic.
Just imagine what kind of cosmetics such designers will create! With catchy names like Melrose Mood (lipstick) and Style Minx (eye shadow), and hot pink packaging that Barbie herself might have designed, the line–which includes lipstick, eyeshadow, base, and nail polish–is destined to sell like hotcakes (SheFinds hint: get online early on March 27 to be sure you get yours). Moms, this is the craze your sixteen-year-old will be dying to get in on next month. And for the rest of you: remember your late-night dancing, midnight-snacking, celebrity-worshiping former self? Couldn't your make-up kit use a little color?
Get Yours: The M.A.C. Heatherette line will be available March 27, on M.A.C.'s website and various online retailers.
