Women Are Swapping Their Boring Water For This Ice Pop Electrolyte Mix!

I feel like pretty much every aspect of wellness is out on the table these days … except for maybe vaginal health. That conversation can still feel a little more hush-hush than it needs to be.

The other day, I was catching up with a friend over breakfast when she mentioned she’d recently been to the OB-GYN. Before long, we were comparing notes and questions on our experiences, and  basically just talking about women’s health in a way that felt super normal. It’s such a regular part of life, yet it’s not always something we feel comfortable bringing up. Sometimes, all it takes is one open conversation to realize we’re not the only ones wondering about something—and that there’s a lot we can learn from each other when we stop treating these topics like they’re off-limits.

That same open-minded approach to women’s health can carry over into our wellness routines, too. Vaginal health is one piece of the bigger picture, and there are more products than ever designed specifically with women’s needs in mind. One brand working in this space is O Positiv Health, which just launched a new gummy version of its #1 bestselling URO Vaginal Probiotic ($33.99). With a new pink pineapple flavor, it’s a fun alternative for anyone who prefers gummies to the usual supplement capsule.

The original URO Vaginal Probiotic is formulated with 5 billion CFUs from four Lactobacillus probiotic strains, alongside XOS prebiotics. The new gummies take a different approach, featuring 1 billion CFUs of the clinically studied Bacillus coagulans SNZ 1969® probiotic strain, plus vitamins C and D.

Each ingredient brings something different to the formula. The probiotic strain is included to support vaginal health and the women’s microbiome, while vitamin D is intended to support vaginal and overall women’s health. Vitamin C adds nutritional support, and the gummies contain pineapple powder and sea buckthorn, too. It’s worth noting that the gummies have their own set of benefits and aren’t simply the original capsules in a different form.

The format itself is a huge selling point, if you’re generally a gummy fan (like me). Each serving is two gummies with 3 grams of sugar, and the pink pineapple flavor gives them a little something extra compared with a flavorless capsule. They’re also hormone-free, OB/GYN-formulated, and third-party tested, with no fillers, artificial flavors, or dyes—which I appreciate, because I like knowing what goes into my daily supplements. One more thing to note: they’re vegetarian, but not vegan because of the source of vitamin D.

If you’re already familiar with the original URO capsules, the main differences are the flavor, probiotic blend, and added vitamins. The capsules offer a broader blend of four Lactobacillus strains at 5 billion CFUs and contain XOS prebiotics. The gummies feature one clinically studied strain at 1 billion CFUs, along with vitamins C and D.

Both formats are designed to support vaginal health and the women’s microbiome, but the capsules have additional claims around vaginal pH, odor, flora, and yeast balance that don’t apply to the gummies. According to the brand, the gummies can also be taken alongside the original URO capsules.

At the end of the day, figuring out what works for your wellness routine can be a little easier when you have a friend to talk it through with. So, the next time you’re catching up with your bestie over breakfast, maybe O Positiv’s new URO Vaginal Probiotic Gummies will come up, too. After all, you never know what helpful tips, recommendations, or questions might come out of a simple chat over tea and granola.

If you’re interested in trying them, URO Vaginal Probiotic Gummies are now available at OPositiv.com for $33.99.
