The 125 Best New Beauty Launches Of 2023

Mischa Barton hasn’t exactly been hitting the mark stylewise lately, and she’s done it again, this time in heinous yellow pants.  This look is not doing her any favors.  We love florals and pastels for spring just as much as the next gal, but let us here at Red Carpet Re-Do show you how to do it in a more appropriate and forgiving way.

What She Did Wrong:

  • High-waisted skinny jeans are extremely hard to pull off; don’t make it harder on yourself by wearing them in pale yellow
  • Unless your name’s Dorothy and you’re trying to get back to Kansas, lose the awkward red pumps
  • This floral shirt might actually be cute, but sadly Mischa ruined it by tying it like a trashy farmer-girl

What She Should Have Done:

Florals are a great staple for spring, but it’s almost like Mischa is trying really hard to make them look bad.  Stick with simplicity when it comes to prints and you’ll look less outfit-confused and more pulled-together and chic.

A floral print top that’s two soft colors, like this one by Penecy ($130) is more attractive than Mischa’s loud multicolored version.  We give you permission to break out your white jeans now that the weather’s warm, and try these by J.Crew ($98) that are tight enough to give your legs shape, but loose enough so every vein isn’t visible.

Nothing says springtime like a pair of espadrilles like these by Jessica Simpson ($68.95).  Pair them with a dainty cross body purse by “it” girl purse designer Rebecca Minkoff ($150) to complete this ultra feminine look.
