We’ve seen some truly mind-blowing transformations over the past few years. From Lily James’ spectacular portrayal of Pamela Anderson in Hulu’s Pam and Tommy, to Renée Zellweger’s insane transformation into Pam Hupp for NBC true crime drama, The Thing About Pam, we thought we had seen it all! Until now!
Bradley Cooper looks completely unrecognizable in the first look pictures of him as late West Side Story composer Leonard Bernstein in the upcoming Netflix movie, Maestro. We had to do a double, nay, triple take, as we were in sheer disbelief that the man under all that makeup and all those facial prosthetics was the 47-year-old Hangover star!

Maestro will be directed by Cooper, following the success of A Star is Born which he also directed, and Steven Spielberg and Martin Scorsese are listed as producers. Wow! The movie also stars Carey Mulligan as Bernstein’s wife, Felicia Montealegre, and Jeremy Strong as critic John Grue. Production for Maestro reportedly started earlier this month, and it is expected to land on Netflix some time in 2023.
According to IMDB, the movie is about “the complex love story of Leonard and Felicia, a story that spans over 30 years—from the time they met in 1946 at a party and continuing through two engagements, a 25 year marriage, and three children.”
It should come as no surprise to hear that Cooper is already creating Oscars buzz for his transformation into the legendary Grammy, Tony, and Emmy (to name just a few!) winner. And if he doesn’t take home the accolade at next year’s Academy Awards, fans are convinced that whoever was in charge of his appearance will, because his transformation is truly mind-blowing!
