The world is eagerly awaiting one of the biggest nights in the fashion calendar that takes place on the first Monday in May – we are, of course, referring to the Met Gala!
But the fashion isn’t just reserved for the Met Gala red carpet, as some of the most memorable looks are often saved for the pre and post-event parties too. And true to form, this year’s pre-Met Gala party – hosted by lead sponsors Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez Bezos at their lavish NoMad apartment on Saturday, May 2nd – delivered plenty of jaw-dropping moments!
One of the biggest themes of this year’s pre-Met Gala party seemed to be raciness, as several celebs opted to wear super-daring sheer ensembles. For the pre-Met Gala party, the brunette beauty wore a daring long black dress from Chanel’s spring/summer 2026 collection. The gown was completely sheer and adorned with delicate floral appliqués, while also featuring a dramatic plunging neckline to add even more drama to the proceedings! And it goes without saying, she pulled it off spectacularly!
She accessorized with simple black underwear to preserve her modesty, along with a long colorful necklace that complemented the floral detailing on the dress. The overall look was ethereal yet daring – and we’re obsessed!

The 29-year-old Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model also got the memo when it came to the sheer and daring dress code, stepping out in a see-through long black lace dress that left very little to the imagination. Check out her look here.

The Baywatch star accessorized with a dazzling chunky diamond choker. She wore her hair in a ’90s-inspired sweeping down do that Cher Horowitz would be very proud of, while her makeup was finished off with a bold red lip.
Lisa Rinna
The former RHOBH star, 62, is known for her head-turning looks both on and off the red carpet; and this party, which she attended with husband Harry Hamlin, was no exception. Check out her look here.
The Traitors contestant also embraced the sheer trend in a dress that had a long-sleeved netted top and a silky black floor-length skirt, as well as some red feathers wrapped around herself for added drama!
