Is it just us, or are red carpet dresses are getting CRAZY short?

Stars like Alessandra Ambrosio, Adriana Lima, Olivia Munn, Kourtney Kardashian, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Bella Hadid are taking the “little” in little black dress to the extreme, wearing increasingly smaller and smaller mini dresses to red carpet events and on social media.

While the LBD has always been a go-to, these extreme versions feature shrinking hemlines, cut-outs, leather, lace and sheer panels. Va-va-voom!

At this rate, they’ll be wearing black bras and underwear next season. Oh wait, that’s already happened.

Here’s the trend:

Alessandra Ambrosio wore a cut-out mini dress to a Michael Kors Dinner to celebrate Kate Hudson and The World Food Programme in Beverly Hills, Calif. in November.

Adriana Lima attended a Mabelline party during New York Fashion Week on February 10th:

Olivia Munn gave thanks to all her supporters in an end-of-year post on Instagram. She loves a good mini dress and thigh-high boots moment!

Khloe Kardashian wore a belted mini dress on Instagram December 19th, 2018.

Bella Hadid wore a Moschino leather mini dress in February.

Elsa Hosk chose a lacy version in Tokyo.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley channeled French girl fashion in Paris.
